I suffer clinical insomnia, cluster headaches, brain trauma etc. from a bad accident 5 years ago. I've been able to get relief from hypnosis - but at a cost of $450 a session! @aezaki07 Here's the thing ... if you have expectations and put pressure on yourself ... you are expecting a "specific" feeling. And trance feels different every time you do it. What you should do, is simply follow the directions in the video, not expecting anything. "Success" or? "Failure" just listen to it for the pure enjoyment. If you can do that, you will get something positive out of it no matter what happens.

I really want to feel how it's like to fall into that hypnotic? state and I have tried some hypnotic audios (Not Victoria's) and even tried Binaural beats but it never works. I have high hopes after reading the countless positive reviews by your customers and YouTube comments like the one above and it makes me nervous to click that play button because I don't want to be disappointed. Intelligent people allow themselves to accept suggestions when it benefits them, while? less intelligent people often resist things that are for their own betterment. Having an attitude of resistance and aggression to one's family, to one's teachers and to authority figures. He was surprised at how easily it was with me, then he realized what he had thought for years, that I? had a high IQ. around 140 But it's important to note here, as he did then that one can only be hynotized if they are open to it, a willing subject, or, unsuspecting. BTW, I'm a high IQ means nothing in life. The smartest people are the ones that make the most of what God has given them.

It works the same, you don't have to touch their arm, you can distract them while they bow and say "what's that over there" and as they are breaking from the routine of bowing and begin to look, their mind switches modes and then you can tell them to sleep. I think.? lol

this is what ive found is effective focus on the breath imagine lieing on a beach as the sun heats up a part of your body it becomes relaxed and heavy count backwards from 300 in your mind (say? at one point when it counts its fine and when it doesnt count thats fine too) hope this helps :)

For everyone that wants to know what the NLP take is on this, look for the term "reframing". About this induction: It's okay, but I would have started much more with presuppositions, verbal pacing, etc. "As you're looking at your hand, you will notice everything around your focuspoint to get out of focus and you're eyes will work harder and you're eyes will get tired and want to close, but you will not close them until your fingers? touch your face." But hey, he does the job I guess.

She's a very good subject, and obviously has had lots of training. However I disagree with the way you've labeled states. What you called "somnambulism" I would call "deep trance", and if she is acting "as if awake" while simultaneously displaying trance phenomena, then I would call it "somnambulism". Also, I consider catalepsy, ideomotor activity, etc as being "phenomena" rather than seperate states. Of course, I? follow the Ericksonian school, so we would probably disagree on a few things.

@dineroabc - While headaches are not a frequent side effect, it does happen from time to time. From my experience, having worked with hundreds of clients one-on-one, only 2 clients experienced a headache after the hypnosis? session. In both cases we were working on issues that had a lot of negative emotion associated with them. That may or may not be your case. I highly recommend EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) to resolve the headache. It is very easy and effective. Hope that helps

It is common when you shift/heal/resolve an old unconscious belief/block that has been holding you back or limiting you from achieving what you want.? I do not get headaches or anything major, but a slight dizzy, spaced out state and nausea, but it passes away after half an hour. I do indeed have many negative emotions, due to hard circumstances in my life, but when I do this meditation it makes me feel happy, wonderful,? positive and elevates my spirit, above all the issues I have, so my symptoms seems strange to me, because I am trully ejoying it alot!

In both cases the issue at hand included a lot of negative emotions. Because I do not know enough about you and your unique circumstances, I do not feel comfortable drawing conclusions. You could? try a different position (laying down) when listening or if that does not help try a different method for goal achievement (ie: EFT, NLP, etc.)

When you don't remember the details of the hypnosis session, it is referred? to as hypo-amnesia, which is safe (and sometimes a preferred state depending upon your goal for hypnosis).
